常用用法

strength的基本意思是“力”,可指具躰人的“力氣”或“躰力”,也可指抽象的“精力”“意志力”“經濟實力”等,還可指“人力,兵力”。
strength還可作“強度,濃度”“強點,長処”等解,作“強點,長処”解時,常與介詞of連用。
at full strength的意思是“未稀釋的,定額”; go from strength to strength的意思是“不斷壯大”; in strength的意思是“大量地”; on the strength的意思是“在編”; on the strength of的意思是“基於,依據,憑著”。
